What is the difference between Kerasilk and keratin treatment?

Instead of keratin (a protein naturally occurring in the body used to smooth the cuticle of the hair), Kerasilk treats the hair with a proprietary vegan protein called biomimetic silk, lab-derived silk (no harm to the silkworm).

How often will the treatment last?

It lasts up to 3 to 5 months. It all depends on hair types and the aftercare.

We strongly recommend Kerasilk Control or Maria Nila's hair care products, which are vegan, sulfate, and paraben-free.

Is Kerasilk Good for Your Hair?

Yes, the treatment will protect your hair from dryness. As you will find your blow dry time is cut down, or maybe even you prefer to leave air dry, your hair will avoid heat and mechanical damage, leaving you with shiny, smooth hair that lasts even longer.

We normally advise you to wait 2 weeks. However, it is possible to book some colour service with Kerasilk Keratin Treatment on the same day. please call us to discuss.

Will it damage my hair?

The beauty of the Kerasilk treatment is that it has restorative properties. It will improve the texture and condition of colored hair.

Is it safe during pregnancy?

Yes, it is safe as it doesn’t contain formaldehyde; however, we recommend it from the 3rd trimester.
